The High Spirit Pop Up Store

Our first ever pop up shop.

Last week or so, we were at Boxpark hosting a week long High Spirit Pop Up Shop (5th – 11th January 2015). The pop up store was sponsored by Fiji Water (www.fijiwater.com). It was our first independent pop up store so we were pretty excited about showcasing our product and our brand to a wider audience. 

We also had Mathew Vieira’s wonderful artwork for sale. He’s one of our favourite artists. We love the way he fuses realism and elements of geometry into his pieces. On the opening of the shop he surprised us with original painted portraits of our faces! They were fantastic and they definitely got our customers talking! We were also gifted with lovely cupcakes by CherryDCakes.

We were so humbled with the large amount of people from ALL OVER THE WORLD who have been following us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter that came to the shop to say Hi and to also get some more bags! We are always pinching ourselves because we sometimes can’t believe how much love you guys are giving us!

Within the week, we learnt a lot about running a retail space. We also took on board the lessons needed in order to further improve our business.

A lot of people have been requesting for us to do another Pop Up. Maybe we will. We might do one abroad! Whatever we decide to do, we will definitely let you guys know! J

BRING ON 2015

Can’t believe 2014 ended so quickly. It felt like it went by in a flash. For us it has been a year of learning.

Growing High Spirit has been very challenging, but we have made some major achievements along the way. One of proudest achievements was getting our product into the Global Luggage store on Oxford Street and the One by One Store in Soho. In addition, we were featured on the BBC One Show with Theo Paphitis (a British retail magnate and entrepreneur)! That was so dope! We got some really valuable advice and it was a fantastic experience!

We know that this is just the beginning and we believe that there are even greater things to come for High Spirit. Due to our hard work and commitment we are happy that more people are getting to know about High Spirit and what we represent as a company and a brand.

As me and my brother go through our business journey we will keep you guys filled in on the latest and also share some tips and advice that we have picked up along the way! Anyway, bring on 2015!!! We are ready to take it to the next level and take you guys along with us! Let the journey continue! J
