HOW TO GET CHEAP FLIGHTS

Josh okungbaiye

Just wanted to give you guys some tips (below) on how to get cheap flights, especially for those of you who have made a commitment to seeing more of the World this year. Enjoy! :-)

Be Flexible

If you want cheap flights you have to be flexible on times, dates and even the destination. Skyscanner offers an option where the search engine will give you a list of affordable destinations within your budget.

Book Midweek

People tend to travel less during midweek. To ensure you get the best prices possible book your ticket between Mondays and Thurs.  In addition, it has been said that Tuesday and Wednesdays are the best days to find cheap flight deals.  Sometimes changing the day of your flight could save you a lot of money. Give all these days a try and see which prices suit you best.

Book the times that very few travel

Try to book tickets for the first flight of the day or the very last flight of the day going to your preferred destination. These times are usually the cheapest because airlines will be very keen to fill their seats. Also, try not to book your flights at peak seasons.

Use the Google Incognito Window

When searching for flight deals, use the incognito window on Google to avoid your cookies getting tracked. These cookies will enable a flight company to see your flight searches and they will increase the price. So to avoid this and ensure you get the best possible prices on your flight searches, hide your cookies by searching for flights using the incognito window.

Book tickets that have a stopover

Usually direct flights can be quite expensive. So try to look out for flights that require you to stopover before you reach your final destination.

Compare prices

Don’t go for the first offer you see. Check out flight comparison sites and cheap travel sites to get the best deal. Here is a list of amazing flight websites to help you get started.

Skyscanner

Google Flights

Momondo

Kayak

HolidayPirates

CheapTicket

Jacks Flight Club

Also, if you find a good deal on a comparison website remember to go directly to the airline website as they may have even cheaper deals that will not be shown on the travel comparison site.

Sign-Up to Airlines

Sometimes flight offers will not be available to the general public and will only be available to subscribers. In order to stay aware of the deals, follow airlines on social media and sign up to the airline newsletter.

As an example, you can sign up for airfarewatchdog.com

There are also discount codes for some airlines. They are out there on the Internet. You just have to search for them.

Sign-Up for Reward Programs

If you have a credit card, you can sign up for frequent flier miles rewards programs. The points will add up very quickly and you will be able to save money in the long term.

Book in advance

Book your flights up to 3 months in advance. Just a couple of days and weeks can make a huge difference in the final price.

Excess Fees

When booking your flights, watch out for excess fees or any further hidden charges.

Introducing: The Dragon Range

Josh okungbaiye

We have been going through a lot of changes to make our company even better for you guys. We know that you have stuck with us watching our growth and development. We listened to you guys and our intuition and created an even more evolved theft-proof bag for your journey. Like all our bags, we pay very close attention to detail and craftsmanship to maintain high quality. After months of creative development we took one step further and created the new Dragon range; it was inspired by watching too many seasons of Game of Thrones and watching How To Train A Dragon (Love that movie!). Mythology and the beauty of the imagination are powerful forces. We feel these elements play a huge role in fuelling our curiosity to travel to explore the unfamiliar. We infused these ideas into the design of our bags. In regards to functionality we made sure that it could fit a lot more stuff for your travels, especially laptops for easy access. The normal sized bags can fit a laptop up to 15 inches. We also added a fluorescent dragon skin that reflects in the night so you can be easily seen and stay safe (We kind of geeked out on this because we think it is a pretty cool feature).  Also, we created the mini dragons aswell. Now you all can have your own pet dragon on your back that keeps your stuff safe.

Introducing the Dragon range available at selected retailers and the Online Shop.

GLOBAL CITIZEN: MEET KIRBY

Josh okungbaiye

We had the pleasure of photographing Kirby. She moved to London a few years ago and she is already making major waves in the modelling and fitness world. She is full of energy and is always smiling and we are sure we will be seeing more of her doing her thing and taking over the World! Meet Kirby! :-)

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT LIVING IN LONDON?

The opportunities. If I'd never have moved to London I really don't think that I'd have been able to experience half of the things that I have. You really don't know what's going to come your way next, which makes it all the more exciting.

WHERE IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT?

There are three places that are at the top of my list... Australia, as I hear that the fitness scene out there is amazing and the weather doesn't look so bad! ;) Nigeria because when people find out that I'm part Nigerian they always ask if I've been and one day I would like to turn around and say yes! Finally I'd have to say LA, mainly because I think it could be good for me career-wise out there.

WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO EAT IN LONDON?

For a quick bite I'd say Planet Organic and for date night it has to be Sushi Samba

WHAT DO YOU LOVE DOING?

Exercising and sunbathing! Unfortunately I don't get to do much of the latter in London, but if the sun's out, you won't catch me indoors! I also love spending time with good people. drinking cocktails, watching the sun set and writing.

3 FAVOURITE THINGS EVERYONE SHOULD DO IN LONDON?

Eat at Sushi Samba, run down the Thames and picnic at the viewpoint in Greenwich park (if you like a good view then you won't be disappointed).
